The ROG Ally: Available for Purchase in India from July 12th at a Price of Rs 69,990
Asus has exciting news for gaming enthusiasts in India. They recently confirmed that their highly anticipated handheld gaming device, the ROG Ally, will be hitting the market soon. And now, the company has revealed that the device will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting July 12.
Let’s quickly recap what makes the ROG Ally stand out. This Windows 11-powered console is designed to run PC games and comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and a Radeon GPU. The AMD Z1 boasts 6 cores based on the Zen 4 architecture, while the GPU offers 12 compute units based on the RDNA3 architecture.
The ROG Ally features a 7-inch IPS display with a Full HD resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Its display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, and the device itself weighs 608 grams. For those seeking more power, the ROG Ally offers the option to connect an external GPU, the ROG XG Mobile. When compared to its competitor, the Steam Deck, the ROG Ally boasts superior performance with its faster refresh rate display. Additionally, while the Steam Deck runs on Valve’s Steam OS, which is primarily optimized for gaming, the Asus handheld runs a full-fledged desktop version of Windows 11.
Starting July 12, the ROG Ally will be available for purchase at Asus Exclusive Stores, Flipkart, and Asus Eshop, all priced at Rs 69,990. As an added bonus, Asus is hosting a flash sale on Flipkart on July 7, where the first 200 customers who purchase the device from Asus Eshop or Asus Stores on July 12 will receive a complimentary ROG Ally Case valued at Rs 2,000.
